<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">from Tarot of the Pagan Cats</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Astronomically speaking, a solar eclipse is when the Moon appears to travel across and 'hide' the sun from those of us on Earth. It is simply when the rotation of the Moon brings it between the Sun and us. A lunar eclipse is when it appears that the Moon is consumed by darkness. It is simply the Sun behind the Earth. The Earth then casts its shadow upon the Moon.</span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Astrologically speaking, eclipses have always meant big changes.</span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><b>Solar Eclipse: A Time to Sow</b></span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span><span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">A solar eclipse joins the life-giving energy of the Sun with the mysterious and spiritual nature of the Moon. As the Moon slides over the Sun, it is sometimes said that the energy of the spirit and rationality combine anew. This is a process that repeats itself many times over our lives. </span></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">First, think of the New Moon. This is the dark moon; when our closest stellar neighbor isn't in her normal darkened sky but instead travels the daytime sky with the Sun. As the moon goes back into the night sky it appears to wax, or grow. The New Moon period is a time to plant, to start, to begin anew. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Solar Eclipses are considered beginnings. A Solar Eclipse takes the growing energy of a New Moon and supercharges it. You may feel the urge to begin a new project, find a new job, seek a new lover. You may find yourself seeking to enter a new stage of life, travel, seek new challenges or completely conquer an existing obstacle. Some people may experience a restlessness that they normally wouldn't feel. Others may simply feel emotionally raw; as if each emotion was new again. Every astrological sign is <span style="font-family: inherit;">a</span>ffected slightly differently. </span></span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></span>
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">Eclipse energy can be felt for quite a while. Most people will begin to feel it slightly some three months before the event. Everyone will feel it the two weeks surrounding the event. For many it may feel like slight anxiety. Reverberations can be felt by sensitive types for <span style="font-family: inherit;">several</span> years after a full eclipse. </span></span><br />
<br />
<b>Lunar Eclipse: A Time to Reap</b><br />
<br />
Just like in Tarot, the Moon is a font of the unconscious self. As the Moon fills up, so does its pull on our collective unconscious. We feel more strongly, react more instinctively. As the Moon wanes so does its ability to tug on our emotions. It becomes time to finalize and let go of things holding us back.<br />
<br />
A Lunar Eclipse takes the energies of the Full and Waning Moons a step further. It can be thought of as our 'shadow side' coming out from behind the light. Our emotions will run stronger. We are all about our relationships and how they make us feel - not so much their logistics or structure! We will look for new perspectives and work to shed those things that no longer fit who and what we are. <br />
<br />
During a Lunar Eclipse the Sun and the Moon, symbols of our emotional and mental selves, are at opposite points. In a way, it is a visual reminder to not get too hung up on materiel concerns. Actions and decisions made around this time will make a lasting impression and bring awareness. They generally do it in a way that is unexpected; forewarned is forearmed. The energies of a Lunar Eclipse are strongest the two days before and for two days afterwards. Sensitive individuals may notice them for a week afterwards. <br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>In Tarot</b><br />
<br />
The Sun card is noted for being one of the most optimistic cards in a deck. It is expansive spirituality, joy de vive - life itself. The Moon is not known as being so optimistic. It's the card of the shadowed self, our unconscious with all its hidden horrors. The stars (our heavenly backdrop, so to speak!) in the Star speak of a creature with one foot on land (practicality of the Sun) and another in water (intuition of the Moon). Balance, perhaps? <br />
<br />
Astrologically the Sun card is paired with the Sun while the Moon card is paired with Pisces. The Star is paired with Aquarius. Some say that a reading that features these cards in a positive aspect to each other could point to something written in the stars. Myself, I like to keep an open mind. <br />

<br /><br />I saved this, my favorite deck for last. Tarot of the Pagan Cats. I love this deck, love the art, and love how it reads for me. And no. They are not paying me. At all. <br />But man, what a sword heavy reading. Again, this is a Simple Cross. I did draw a clarifying card because...swords man. Swords. And it's Friday the 13th too! EE!<br /><br />The theme for Friday is the Knave of Swords. My challenge of the day is the 6 of Swords. My influences come from the Ace of Swords. My outcome is the 9 of Pentacles. And my clarifying card is the Ace of Wands. <br /><br />The Knave is a chatty, happy Sword card. He's full of plans..and come Friday I know I sure am! The 6 card signifies change, travel, and transition. On a short scale, like a single day, this could simply mean an end of the work week and the beginning of the weekend. Whatever my transition, the Ace paired with the 9 of Pentacles implies a successful day. Oh, happy day. <br /><br />The Ace of Wands... I do believe points to a creative weekend. I was hoping to do a bit more than just play video games this weekend. Perhaps I'll be able to do it. <br />katsrevengehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03184424251040293799noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5992839575199944232.post-84100024377169741812015-03-12T10:00:00.000-07:002015-03-12T10:00:01.472-07:00Thursday's Reading<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br /><br />This deck is a deck that I modded when I was first learning. I gave their eyes pupils..and added elemental infos. I'm blanking on the name of this deck. I just remember it's older. <br />I've gone back to the Simple Cross. <br /><br />The theme is the Moon while the challenge is 5 of Pentacles. My influences are in the Hanged Man. My outcome is the King of Swords. <br /><br />I believe that my natural tendency to obsess and worry about things will be active today. Weee! I'm going to fret about all sorts of things! Luckily, I am aware of my tendencies. I am stronger, I can meditate through this, my own personal cross. And if I can clear my head of these frets and unconscious worries.... I will emerge a clear headed thinker. Success, at least for today.katsrevengehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03184424251040293799noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5992839575199944232.post-46064863684532896772015-03-11T07:30:00.000-07:002015-03-11T07:30:05.045-07:00Wednesday, A New Sort of DeckI thought I'd do something a little different for hump day. This is a Petit Lenormand deck, Under the Roses. I'm still rather new at reading these... but they are interesting! <br />I did a 5 card line spread. <br />Basically, this spread is read <br />1-2 3 4-5<br />then<br />1 2-3 4 5<br />and finally <br />1 2 3-4 5<br />You can also read them together.<br />1-2-3-4-5 <br />Card 3 is considered the Significantor. It's the main theme of the reading. Some will shuffle the deck and flip it then pull the cards from around the Lady or Gentlemen or Child (whichever fits!). I didn't. I let it be random! <br />I pulled, off the top of the deck, a 6th card. This is sometimes called the 'hidden card'. It pertains to things bubbling just under the surface of a situation. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI1gSLxxo6VtqSL86Vr9aogXCXg2b9BjMaX1Wyhogeih5ERW6QfXIcittgYkDWCvVq1CMI6RHXwSswgUvKLQld1T8Nn_RhmkMxBMj8adH58XsO__u6wl0jzwyKoM8elLu33wlO1qVg-PY/s1600/DSCN1476.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjI1gSLxxo6VtqSL86Vr9aogXCXg2b9BjMaX1Wyhogeih5ERW6QfXIcittgYkDWCvVq1CMI6RHXwSswgUvKLQld1T8Nn_RhmkMxBMj8adH58XsO__u6wl0jzwyKoM8elLu33wlO1qVg-PY/s1600/DSCN1476.JPG" height="273" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />So, the Fish and the Snake point to a possible money issues. (I will be broke by then! Hehehe.) <br />The Sickle, the Significator, speaks of a situation that involves change.<br />The Locket and the Letter are more romantic, these two speak of romantic messages or intents. Or just a heartfelt message.<br />The Snake to the Sickle is recovery. <br />The Lilies to the Sickle speak to healing. <br /><br />I *think* there are two things going on. One involves an older woman recovering from health issues. Or, it is purely a health reading. A fear that I may be let down, that something may end...but a healing may take place instead. I hope so. <br />As I said. I'm new to this system. katsrevengehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03184424251040293799noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5992839575199944232.post-46350390921710586252015-03-10T01:30:00.000-07:002015-03-10T01:30:01.764-07:00Tuesday's Reading I'm using the Simple Cross again. Deck is the Tarot of the White Cats. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyrZcV6Zm4hO8mM_OQVPxJRj243D84PG7AbfJuJhe_P-kJryCpe-auswyTnWLd2sEjRx13s0p1M73RwcarwCpBgrFez4MDlxF0mKkVw4PFqsJPZbTWveKG8EjWwT_-5BRT36YHrnkrrps/s1600/DSCN1474.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyrZcV6Zm4hO8mM_OQVPxJRj243D84PG7AbfJuJhe_P-kJryCpe-auswyTnWLd2sEjRx13s0p1M73RwcarwCpBgrFez4MDlxF0mKkVw4PFqsJPZbTWveKG8EjWwT_-5BRT36YHrnkrrps/s1600/DSCN1474.JPG" height="280" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />Interesting... <br />The day's theme is the 4 of Chalices. My challenge is Judgement. (oh dear...) Outside influences are those of the 5 of Chalices. My outcome is the Wheel. <br />
<br />I'm pretty sure that this reading isn't trying to chide me about my work habits. Chalices are the suit of emotions and the inner life. I believe that today is a day of contemplation. The 4 of Chalices speaks of satiety, fullness and a satisfaction overfed. Judgement is telling me to re-evaluate, and renew myself in some way. The 5 of Chalices may speak of becoming too set in my ways, emotionally stuck.<br />The Wheel is a great card; I'm happy to see it. A successful day sees some rebirth, growth and a good day. <br />katsrevengehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03184424251040293799noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5992839575199944232.post-48826584251845824432015-03-09T06:20:00.000-07:002015-03-09T06:20:01.418-07:00Monday's Reading with Black Cats<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
This kicks off a week of daily readings. I'm using the Simple Cross.<br />I based it roughly on the classic Celtic Cross. I love the Cross spread. It packs so much info into a reading. It is a fairly complex reading that can say so very much to a person. But it aimed at a time frame that can stretch into the months, not the days. I wanted something more suited to a daily reading. I thought about a single card or a three card spread but those are just not as fun. And really, everyone does them. I do them too but I wanted to try something new. Pretty sure this is new... <br /><br />So, I simplified the Celtic Cross. This could be used for short term queries. I'm going to use it to see what the day has in store!<br />
<br />
This deck is the Black Cats Tarot. I have no affiliation with any company...I just like this deck <br /><br />It is read:<br />
.....4<br />
1/2 3<br /><br />1 is the day's theme. <br />2 is the day's challenge. <br />3 is the influences on the Questioner, at the present. <br />4 is the outcome card. <br /><br />
Erm.... I forgot to take a picture! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br /><br />My theme is the Knave of Pentacles. My challenge is the Devil. I'm being influenced by the Ace of Pentacles and I hope to achieve the Ace of Swords. <br /><br />It's pretty fitting. Monday is the beginning of the work week. I do tend to get distracted by more entertaining things than the tasks I must complete before I can head home. The Devil here would be my desire to put off heading to work until the very last minute! But, I do want to succeed. I can, and have the ability to do so, as seen in the Ace of Pentacles. I will succeed in the day's tasks, if the conquering spirit of the Ace of Swords cat is to be believed! katsrevengehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03184424251040293799noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5992839575199944232.post-89015463645160797922015-01-01T02:42:00.001-08:002015-01-01T02:42:55.397-08:00Pimp Me<p dir="ltr">In tiara and pearls.... with my pimp cup!</p>

<br />
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
A god question for
the 'True Love Spread'. The background card suggests that there are a
number of choices to be mad, and most look pretty good right now.
And, that there are a number of Major Arcana cards suggests that this
question is not just a minor one. The outcome is important; possibly
to many people. </div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The background card
is the Seven of Chalices. This card is a somewhat dreamy card, and
represents a series of choices that may or may not be based in
reality. It suggests that all decisions be made with caution; things
may not be as they seem.</div>
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The first card, the
reversed Queen of Chalices represents the questioner. She is, like
all cups cards, related to the emotions. She is introspective,
thoughtful and caring. Like her cup, she is sometimes closed. She is
reversed. Her normal close connection with her emotional state has
been disrupted. This Queen is unsure of her feelings. </div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The second card is
the other partner. This card is Justice. This person seeks a sense of
fairness and balance. Perhaps there is a want for some sort of
solution. If there is one to be made, it will be done with knowledge
of long term impact.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The third card is
the Wheel. This is a card of destiny. It is ruled by Jupiter, the
lord of growth and success. In short, what joins is change and the
knowledge that what will go around will come back. It is a card of
luck, but that luck must be maintained with a solid foundation of
hard work and understanding. </div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The next card is
what keeps this relationship alive. Two of Pentacles is a card of
balance. Basically, these two individuals compliment each other very
well. They run well together in harness. They are able to maintain a
comfortable balance between all of the demands of life and their own
well-being. This is an active balance; it is a continual work of
perfection. </div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The weak point is
shown as the Ten of Chalices. Generally this is card of happiness. In
this position it suggests that there may be a difference in opinions
over what the future should hold. </div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The last card is
Three of Chalices. This cheerful card is the herald of good things.
It symbolizes a joining in friendship and joy. To me, this suggests
that the outcome will be a positive one.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
So, I'd say that
over all this is a positive spread. It will end well, no matter the
choices made.
</div>
</div>

This is not a deck

opinion of this deck. What I have done is to select my favorite
cards...and my least favorite cards.

<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
This deck is a very
cute RW clone. I rather like the cute little cats. And I must say..
I'm not a huge fan of anthropomorphic animals. I generally prefer my
creatures to be more creature like.But this is still rather cute. </div>

I like The Moon, the Ace of Wands, the Empress, Strength and the
Eight of Chalices.<br />
<b>The Moon.</b><br />
I enjoy the almost playful feel of this moon. The cat lady holds
it in her hand between two playful looking dogs. It's just a
light-hearted scene.<br />
<b>Ace of Wands</b><br />
This is just such a catly thing to do. And, that is one smug
looking feline.
<br />
<b>The Empress</b><br />
She looks a bit like one of my favorite cat breeds, the Angora.
With the playing kittens at her feet, the relaxed recline pose and
the matronly look on her face, it is a far different feel than the
rather stiff RW lady.
<br />
<b>Strength</b><br />
Out of the mouths of... lions?
<br />
<b>
</b><b>Eight of Chalices</b><br />
I really like the Cat in the Moon. Nice artistic touch.

<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
A basic question of
life. I used a basic but hopefully informative spread. This <a href="http://brandiauset.com/tarot-three-card-layout/" target="_blank">threecard spread works </a>as follows:</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
----B</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
1-2-3
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The background card
is the Moon. This suggests that the situation is being approached in
an intuitive or unconscious manner.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The first card is
often read as the past. It can also imply those things that led up to
this situation. In this case, it is the 10 of Wands. This card, like
all tens, is a card of realized ambitions and work. This one suggests
that the 'harvest' is as stressful as the work that went into it.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The second card is
the present, or those things which are now at work. In this spread it
is Judgment. The tabby angel blows his horn as newly-minted angel
cats ascend to Heaven. Of note, the energies of this card are
governed by Pluto, god of the Underworld. He is stern but just. It
suggests that now is the time for a regrouping. Sit and evaluate your
position, what you have achieved and what you hope to achieve. An
'awakening' comes, and with it a possible re-examination of
priorities.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The third card is
the King of Wands. There is much opportunity to succeed here; and the
drive to see it through. Success is dependent on you in this
situation. Avoid acting or becoming arrogant or forgetting the ones
who helped to set the stage.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">

<style type="text/css">p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 120%; }a:link { }</style>
<br />
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The Celtic Cross is
one of those spreads that everyone does. It's offered in nearly every
beginner's guide even though it is a fairly advanced spread-not an
easy one for a new-comer to grasp.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
That said. It is a
good spread, full of information and advice. I read this one on
someone's birthday. A gift. A warning. Fun for all ages... even as 29
creeps closer. Any ways. Here is the variant that I used:</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
B-----------------10</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
---------5---------9</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
----3---2/1---4---8</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
---------6---------7</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
--------+-----------</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
There are a few
different ways to draw and read the Celtic Cross. People love to
change the 'Cross' part around. This one is the one I use. It's
pretty much the same thing as the variant on the<a href="http://www.biddytarot.com/how-to-read-the-celtic-cross-tarot-spread/" target="_blank"> Biddy Tarot website.</a> </div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
</div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
I used the Tarot of
the White Cats. This Tarot deck is a newer one for me. It's pretty
close to a standard Rider-Waite deck.. but with cats. This makes it
more awesome. No questions asked.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
For 1 I drew the
four of Chalices, reversed.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
For 2 I drew the 9
of Wands.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
For 3 I drew the
Knave of Swords, reversed.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
For 4 I drew the 4
of Pentacles.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
For 5 I drew the
Seven Of Wands, reversed.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
For 6 I drew the 4
of Wands.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
For 7 I drew the
Knave of Wands, reversed.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
For 8 I drew the 9
of Cups.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
For 9 I drew the 5
of Pentacles, reversed.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
For 10 I drew the
King of Cups.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The background card
was the Empress.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
OK. The Empress
suggests a lean towards feminine energy. This can be a place of
creation, the 'birth' of a new idea or process. The Empress seeks
comfortable living and abundance. This is the general drive at this
time.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
This was also the
only Major Arcana card drawn. The lack of Major Arcana cards suggests
that these trends are of a human making. Things can be controlled and
shaped easier.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Overall, this spread
contains many Wands. There are two Pentacles, two Chalices and one
Sword. A large amount of Wands involve Fire, the concepts of mental
activity and creation of new ideas. This is day to day work in the
development stage.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<b>Reading the Cross.</b></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
I read cards one and
two together. The 4 of Chalices reversed is still a good card. This
card is suggesting that happiness and good stuff are coming soon, if
the groundwork for it has been done. The 9 of Wands supports this.
Success after a hard battle is at hand. Do not fall into isolationism
or despair. If the 4 of Cups is to improve, then the battle must be
fought.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The past card three,
suggested by the Reversed Knave of Swords, suggests a lot of talk but
little action. There have been a number of promises made to the
person that were not upheld. Work through things one at a time
instead of all at once.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The future in card
four, 4 of Pentacles, is all about the good things in life. Goals
will be accomplished. Wealth may be made. Be wary that this does not
become the end-all/be-all.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
I believe cards five
and sic are related. Card five is the current goal of the self. It is
the 7 of Wands. This suggests that the person may wish to throw in
the towel as there has been too many projects taken on at once.
Focusing in on a few at a time sounds great, right now. Card six is
the 4 of wands. The unconscious mind wishes to build a home, a
family, a life. It seeks harmony and stability. Perhaps
simplification is a way to achieve that.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<b>The Upright Section,
Advice and Ending.</b></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card seven, the
Knave of Wands reversed, suggests that new ventures may be difficult
to get off the ground. Perhaps biding one's time for a short period
is in order. The next card, card eight- the reversed 9 of Chalices,
plays into that. This card is the external influences. It would seem
that measuring others by their belongings is felt as a pressure.
Over-use of intoxicants may be another.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card nine, the 5 of
Pentacles reversed, is the hopes and fears. This card is generally
the 'poverty' card. It's reversed, this is a good this. It would
suggest that abject poverty is a fear of the person...while getting
out from under the grind of poverty is a strong desire.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The tenth card, the
King of Cups is a good end. This card is one of emotional balance and
control. There is a generosity of spirit, and a happiness that is
sustainable. The hardships of the Wands, the reversals and the
betrayals of the upside down Knight of Swords have moved past the
miserly 5 of Pentacles to craft a well developed sense of what is
actually important.

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<style type="text/css">p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 120%; }</style>This is a layout of,
as far as I know, my own. It's just a simple past/present/future/
for two people in a relationship. The extra card at the top is the
'background card' and is laid out top up first but drawn last.
</div>
<br />
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
The cards are laid
as so:</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
-1-2-3-</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
--4-5--</div>
<ul>
<li>1-past</li>
<li>2-present</li>
<li>3-future</li>
<li>4-partner 1 (or your
partner)</li>
<li>5-partner 2 (or
yourself)</li>
</ul>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKEAJXN-6EODbtwQd8dm_-8CRnC6F6eVu8TZQX4FSlEgp-vHXCK1OFZRmX73XVqWKbOXUhwyfq2JzErYDkpbsz6tzGvkP4aDgUOZLpE6lvCMGmO_F9OXHEX3PJU9lBIHBw-uUO_ESqha4/s1600/reading1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgKEAJXN-6EODbtwQd8dm_-8CRnC6F6eVu8TZQX4FSlEgp-vHXCK1OFZRmX73XVqWKbOXUhwyfq2JzErYDkpbsz6tzGvkP4aDgUOZLpE6lvCMGmO_F9OXHEX3PJU9lBIHBw-uUO_ESqha4/s1600/reading1.JPG" height="393" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">First Layout</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br />
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
This seems to be a
fairly cheerful reading. The background card is is the two of cups.
Reading intuitively, this is a card that speaks of two individuals
traveling down the road together, happily. </div>
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card 1, the Past, is
the upright Queen of Swords. This sharp queen speaks of quick
thinking and a clear mind. This is a situation with a basis in the
mind in some way. Possibly a smart lady with a clear head plotting.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card 2, the Present,
is 10 of Wands. This card speaks of hard work, but it is work that is
reaping a reward. The black cat stands in a richly gemmed cavern,
ready to reap the rewards of his work. His reward comes, but not
without effort.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card 3, the Future,
is the 3 of Coins. This card shows a cat crafting the perfect piece.
Two failed creations lay abandoned. But, he works on, knowing that he
will succeed. This is a creative venture, or a work in progress, that
will see completion.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card 4, the first
partner, is the 9 of Cups. This is a happy card. The cat drinks deep
of the overflowing milk. His sack holds yet more cups to catch the
flowing goodness. There is contentment and satisfaction and
happiness. </div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card 5, the second
partner, is the Hanged Man. This cat is looped up in a web, just
waiting. Not panicking... just waiting. Life must be seen in a new
way. </div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
All in all, I see this as a reading with plenty of happiness tempered with work of a material sort. </div>
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR42KJNcF1PWJS0JT9Ta51i7Tx2wBE2TNvBuDpW7x9ncFOnE-SX5PP4TlEBhlQUGFtfG7kJLuRDoxTdvN7fg0qEKITvl8USCPNn4BihZVqjDZO2jo5tSQFA59o-L_lqZGI7IONAYBKwWo/s1600/reading2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjR42KJNcF1PWJS0JT9Ta51i7Tx2wBE2TNvBuDpW7x9ncFOnE-SX5PP4TlEBhlQUGFtfG7kJLuRDoxTdvN7fg0qEKITvl8USCPNn4BihZVqjDZO2jo5tSQFA59o-L_lqZGI7IONAYBKwWo/s1600/reading2.JPG" height="362" width="400" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Reading Two, for another couple.</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<style type="text/css">p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 120%; }</style>
<br />
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
This second reading
is a lot more challenging.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
I'm seeing a lot of
conflict and turmoil. The background card is the reversed 6 of Cups.
This card speaks of a sadness for the past. The cat in the card sits
on a suitcase, on the road, and thinks of his lost home. This card
speaks of a lost innocence.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card 1, the Past, is
XXI, The World, reversed. The artwork shows a cat stripping off the
sins of the world to become as innocent as the Fool (a white cat in
this deck). Reversed this is a card of unfinished business, and
possible end of a relationship.</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card 2, the Present,
is the 1 of Wands. This card speaks of a new beginning. There will be
a breakthrough moment leading to possible action and good things.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card 3, the Future,
is the Reversed King of Swords. There is manipulation, possibly a
dishonest but intelligent man who is into esoteric subjects. Trouble
and manipulation.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card 4, the first
partner, is the reversed Knight of Cups. There are unrealistic
expectations, jealousy and over-emotional responses.
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="line-height: 100%; margin-bottom: 0in;">
Card 5, the other
partner, is the Hanged Man. In this reading the waiting takes on a
different feel. This is a cat who's trapped in some way, tied down.
Someone is stuck and needs a new way of seeing.
</div>
<br />
This is a reading of a relationship under breaking strain and sadness. katsrevengehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03184424251040293799noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5992839575199944232.post-20008458280725093282014-07-20T21:32:00.000-07:002014-07-20T21:32:08.350-07:00Video Tarot Card Explanation This guy is pretty awesome if you are into video learning.<br />
